A build studio for the AI era

People & AI, working side by side on what matters.

Both Hands helps companies bring AI into hybrid teams, so the technology and the people who do the work move as one.

The gap we work in

Most AI projects die in the gap between the people who build it and the people who do the work.

That gap is where we work.

Both Hands brings those two sides to one table: the technology and the operations, working as a single problem instead of handed back and forth.

How we use AI

AI is how we build

AI is built into everything we do. It is how we build the tools, so the work goes out the door quicker and cheaper than it did yesterday.

AI is how your team gets sharper

Then we help your people use those tools, with training and ongoing support, so they get faster and better at the job they came to do.

What we've built

The tools behind how we work.

The tools we build for ourselves become the tools we build with. A couple we've put out into the world:

CortexMindFlagship

Your agents remember.

Persistent, local-first memory your AI agents can actually find — episodic recall, re-ranked semantic search, MCP-native, and entirely self-hosted. It's the memory layer under our own stack.

Wspr

Voice to text, privately.

On-device speech transcription for macOS, Windows and Linux. No cloud, no accounts, no tracking — the dictation tool we actually use.

How to start

It begins as an honest conversation.

You talk to the principals who build and run the work, every time. Small enough to move fast, serious enough to deliver.

1

A conversation

We ask a lot of questions. Most of the value is here, and it is free.

2

A clear diagnostic

An honest read on whether AI is even the right answer, and where it would actually pay off.

3

We build it

The tool, the workflow, the team fluency. Worked as one problem.

4

We help you keep it running

It stays useful long after we deliver, and your team owns it.

The best AI gives people more reach, not a smaller seat at the table.

Who we are
Nathanael Hollands

Nathanael Hollands

The operator

Fifteen years building and running operations in some of the world's hardest places: the Democratic Republic of the Congo, the Central African Republic, Chad and Haiti. He came up through emergency response with Medair and Tearfund, consulted with Nuru, and served as Chief Operating Officer of East African Power. He co-founded Kinvest, a first-of-its-kind food systems company in Rwanda.

Mathieu-Philippe Bourgeois

The builder

Twenty years of building software, the last several spent designing AI agents that act on the world: founding engineer of SIKU at Arctic Eider Society, still shipping there; CIO at Cryptech through the blockchain years; co-founder of Air Code Design before that. Fractional CTO, AI engineer, full-stack architect. Mat's the hand on the keyboard, turning the messy reality of a business into systems that are quietly, reliably useful.
